What is mine is yours

I know I have said this before but I just can't believe how big my little Lilly is getting. This rocking chair that she is sitting in is the same one that I used to play with as a child. It totally trips me out when Lilly is at my parents and plays with the same things that I loved as a child. I am just trying to love every moment of Lilly. Life seems to be moving so fast these days.

By the way.... for those who don't know we are moving this weekend into Ryan's parents basement to save some money before we head off to dental school in Milwaukee. We have had so much fun living in the court up here at the U of U. We will miss it terribly. Thanks to all of you in the court who had made our experiences here wonderful!

A day at the Zoo

Lilly went on her first trip to the zoo the other day with her cousin Madison. They had some much fun together!













We visited the gift shop where Lilly tried out the leopard mask and Madison tried to be a giraffe.




















Lilly saw so many animals. Because it was such a warm winter day the animals were all really active. I definitely think the elephants were her favorite.

New photos

Some have asked why I have not posted any new pictures lately. I started thinking about that today. I went through my most recent photos and they all are about the same. As soon as Lilly sees the camera she stops whatever adorable thing she is doing and reaches for the camera. We of course don't give it to her so she begins to cry and the fun of the moment is over. So today I thought I would really try to take some fun pictures of us at IKEA. Well things pretty much turned out the way they always do but I am posting them anyway. Ryan and I have decided if we want Lilly's picture we have to do a sneak attack on her. Well I will keep trying but for now here you go.

Just a trim

Lilly had her first little trim the other night. BreAnna (my friend and stylist) just trimmed the hairs around her ears. Lilly did really good at holding still. I am not counting this as her official first haircut but rather just a trim. Lilly is also approach the 9 month mark and I can't believe it. It has been so much fun seeing the world through her eyes. I love seeing the joy that can be found in the lid drawer or a tag on a blanket. She reminds me all the time that happiness is found in the simple things in life.

Well it is official. Ryan has been accepted to Marquette School of Dental Medicine! It has been a long hard road to get to this point. Although we know the next four years wont be easy we do feel as though a weight has been lifted from our shoulders. We want to thank everyone for all the prayers in our behalf. We feel so blessed to be able to go off on this adventure to Milwaukee. Ryan will begin dental school Aug. 25 so, we will be moving sometime in the middle of Aug. Although it will be hard to say good bye to the many relatives and friends we have in Utah, we are expecting everyone to come visit the great state of Wisconsin and enjoy some cheese curds with us! Thanks again for everyones support, we love you all!!!!!
