Just one year ago...
Just one year ago our Lilly joined our family. I ended up having a scheduled induction and everything went so well. Lilly was born at 3:53 pm, weighed 7 lb 1 oz, and was 19 1/2" long. Ryan and I were so excited to welcome Lilly into the world. This past year has flown by. My little Lilly is not so little anymore. I have loved becoming a mother. Although it has been way harder than I ever thought. It has changed me and brought me more joy than I ever thought possible. So to my Lilly on her 1st birthday, I love you sooo much. You are truly the apple of your daddy's eye and my whole world.

Around the neck it goes!
Lilly loves to play the piano with grandma Lois. On Sunday she and Madison plunked out a few tunes for us.
Lilly loves to drape things around her neck. She has her pearls that she carries with her all the time.
Lilly also loves when I sew. I give her all the scrapes to play with.
She loves laundry day. She gets so excited when I let her dig through the laundry and again drape things around her next.
And finally Lilly got into my ribbon. She was just laughing as she wrapped the ribbon around her. I love to see how the simple things make her so happy. Thanks Lilly for reminding me of the joys of life!

Walk'n
A small clip of some of Lilly's first steps. In the last couple of days she has improved some much. Now she seems to walk more than she crawls. I have to say, out of all the milestones so far this has been the hardest for me. Sometimes I wish Lilly could just stay little. She definitely is growing up faster than I want her to. I just keep trying to cherish each stage knowing that they don't last long.

The first of two moves
Our move went pretty well. Lilly loved all the boxes around. She would try to get in and out of them. Lilly was so cute in trying to help me pack but I kept finding my favorite things in the DI box. It was hard for me to say goodbye to my little apartment. Although it was little it was our home and we had so many great memories there. We are now pretty much settled into our new place at Grandma and Grandpa McAffee's. We are now preparing for our big move to Milwaukee!
