And she rolls!

I could not believe my eyes today when I looked over and Kate rolled over. Why do they have to grow so fast? Kate will be 4 months on the 2nd of October. Kate has had it rough lately. She has some thrush in her mouth and now an ear infection. Nothing seems to keep her down. I think she is just trying to get moving so she can play with her big sis.

I wanna go to the beach mama!

This morning Lilly said " I wanna go to the beach mama!". This morning is cold and rainy. We are only going to have a high of 57 today. I don't think we will be hitting the beach anytime soon. Oh, how I love the beach though. Lake Michigan is so beautiful! The sandy beaches here are great because you feel like you are at the ocean but with fresh water.

We visited Bradford Beach in Milwaukee a few times this summer. This was a trip we took with some of our friends.

Lilly, Kaylee and Camden.
Kate was such a trooper. She was only a little over a month old and did great hanging out in the shade.

We also went to a fabulous beach up in Sheboygan with our friends the Ehat's. It was such a beautiful day.
The kids all thought it was pretty cool when we buried Ryan in the sand.

The kids kept forgetting that Ryan was under the sand. Needless to say Ryan kept getting walked on.
A little cold (I mean really cold) water form Lake Michigan.
Well I think our beach days are over for this year. Until next summer!

Cedarburg

I love our little town of Cedarburg. We have had such a wonderful summer here. It was a cooler summer with low humidity which made it that much better! We are fortunate to have three fabulous parks within walking distance to our house. Here some pictures of Lilly conquering the huge mental slide at the park in the heart of our little town.

I love this spot on the river that runs through town. Wisconsin is beautiful!

I thought I would put up some pictures of Cedarburg. Here are some shots down main street.

They have beautiful walk ways over the river as well.
I am not sure why but popcorn seems to be a big deal around here. We have seen several of these popcorn stands around. Here is our local Cedarburg stand.

Still here

We are still here, just busy. I will be posting new pictures soon. Don't give up on me yet!
